Ahhhhhhhhh... the Dog Days of Summer Have Arrived...
It was 104º heat index today with a slight breeze of 99 degrees. Air quality was listed as dangerous with warnings to stay inside. Sounds like a summer Sunday in St. Louis. So I drew this picture of a woolen clad mule wandering the wilderness after a wicked winter storm. (whew.) Just because one day we may need pictures like this to explain winter and the wilderness to the young ones.
(crayon on paper Nov.1961) .......... My first appreciated art. Drawn for my father when I was nearly four and he actually framed it. He always encouraged my artistic side. When deciding on college, he seriously suggested my moving to San Francisco to draw portraits on street corners. He meant this is a good way. ................................... Art. Creativity. Inspiration. Dreams. Dreaming aloud is always allowed. I will keep these things here to share. Simply.................................. ...Sharon

I know I said this on the last one but the retro! Loving the retro! It's so 1950's paint-by-numbers.
